Ginji's Rescue Team: Chapter 1

In this transcript, if words are in italics, it means that the character is thinking it in his/her head.
A boy figure (Ginji) wearing a Gastly T-Shirt and spiky Hair with a star shaped scar on his forehead is fidgeting on his school desk.
Ginji: Three....Two....ONE!! BYE!!!
Ginji rushes out of his school building running insanely home.
Boy 1: What's up with Ginji rushing off like that...?
Boy 2: Oh..That's right! It's Ginji's Birthday tommorrow.
Boy 1: Tommorrow? Then what's all the rush?
It flashes back to Ginji who slams through the door of his house, and slides into the kitchen, out of breathe, finding a note from his Mom. It said: "Look all you want--You won't find your present! Love, Mom". He grins evilly, and crumples the note.
Ginji: Ha! I'm not falling for that!
It flashes back to the two talking boys at school.
Boy 2: The thing is...He's gonna search the House from top to bottom 'cause he can't wait to find out what he got!
Boy 1: Wow, could he be more anxious? Then again, that sounds like Ginji all right...
It goes back to Ginji, searching hard for his present. He looks beneath everything in the house, hoping to find it.
Ginji:It's HERE! Or...is it HERE?! Maybe Mom just pretended to put it here but actually it's over here!!
Several hours later, Ginji's Mom comes home from work and sees him sleeping on the floor, empty handed, with the whole house a mess.
Mom: I'm Ho-ome! GINJI!! I knew it! You were looking for your present, weren't you? Why can't you just wait until tommorrow? Such an IMPATIENT Child. If only he showed this much enthusiasm about STUDYING...
Ginji (Mumbling): I wanna see it now.......I won't give up.....until....I find my...p-present...
He falls asleep, but the next thing that happens is the camera seea a shape of a Torchic.
Voice: E-Earthquake!!!
Rocks fall all about and around the shadowed figures.
Torchic: Hey, you okay?!
Voice: Y-yes!
The Fog clears up and you see the voice belongs to a Mudkip, who shakes off dust and dirt.
Mudkip: Thank you! (Seeing Torchic say nothing) Wh-What's wrong?
Torchic: Uh...WHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA?! Huh?! Did that Mudkip just talk to me!? I must be hallucinating....yeah...hahaha.... WHA?!
The shadows lift off the body of the torchic and reveals a torchic with a star-shaped scar on its forehead, looking very surprised, and mudkip behind, looking confused. Torchic blows a small flame of fire, and flaps its little wings, and shakes its tiny tail.
Torchic: What the...? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!
Mudkip (Puzzled): You're acting strange. Are you okay?
Torchic: I get it... (Starting to peck itself on nearby tree) This is a dream! As soon as I wake up, I'll be back to normal! This...isn't a DREAM! It's the real Deal!! Hm, I remember looking for my present...then what? (Sees Mudkip confused and silent) Ahh...umm...!
Mudkip: You're weird. I haven't seen you around here before. What's your name?
Torchic: GINJI!
Mudkip (Happily): Ginji? Even your name is weird! My name's mudkip!
Ginji: Ginji's a NORMAL name! For a HUMAN!
Mudkip (Laughing): Ahahahaha! For a human, huh?
Ginji: I can see why you wouldn't believe me, looking like this. I have no idea what's going on, but the thing that's clear is...I AM A TORCHIC!! Where are we anyway?
Mudkip (Pointing): This is my training ground.
Both stare for a moment, seeing a pile of destroyed variety of toys such as a Ponyta Rocker and Gastly Jack-in-the-box.
Mudkip (Sad): AAAAAH! That earthquake just destroyed my training ground!!
Ginji: This looks more like a PLAY-GROUND to ME...What do you mean training? These are all toys.
Mudkip:My dream is to be part of a Rescue Team...But...Since I'm small, and kind of a coward..and don't have any real skills, I started training really hard here..
Ginji: This looks more like PLAYING to me....(Imagining Mudkip sleeping with teddy bear, riding on Ponyta toy, etc..)
Mudkip: BUT I'M NOT GETTING ANY STRONGER!! That earthquake...it was a sign that I should give up, isn't it...?
Ginji (Slightly Concerned): ...You're going to quit...?
Mudkip (Starting to cry): ...Yes....I probably couldn't ever make the rescue team anyway...But you know....I still have this feeling that if I tried a little harder, I'd be able to master a skill....Well...Naw..No..It's impossible for me...or is it...well..Hmm..hmm..What should I do now?
Ginji (Running off): He's so wishy-washy! I can't deal with this!
Mudkip: Huh, where are you going?
Ginji (walking): THE POLICE!
Mudkip (tagging along behind): The Police? What's that? HEY! Come on, tell me!
Ginji (Ignoring Mudkip and walking): Bottom Libe, I've gotta find some clue to how I transformed like this!
The two come to a large hole in the ground and stare down into it.
Ginji (Walking closer): What's with this giant hole?
Mudkip: Ginji be careful...It looks really deep! That earthquake must have made it!
Voice (From Hole): Waaaaaaaaaaaaah! Waaaaaaaaaaaaah!! SOMEONE HELP ME!
Mudkip: Someone fell in! O-Oh no, what should we do? We have to get help! But maybe...(Looking into hole, then shaking head) No, I can't! It's too terrifying to go in there oooh, what'll we do?!
Ginji (Fustrated): AAAGH!! Will you ever stop your babbling?! Don't just stand there thing this! Just Go for it! (
Ginji pushes himself and Mudkip into the huge hole. Mudkip screams in terror until they land on the bottom and see a cave.
Ginji: Well, here we are.
Mudkip: Don't push me around! You're so impatient!! W-What are you going to do? It's pitch black in there!
Ginji: We'll figure something out.
Mudkip: So reckless too...
Suddenly, the two feel an earthquake rumbling in the cave.
Mudkip: Oooooh no. Another earthquake! I-is it safe?
Ginji: Let's hurry!
Ginji and Mudkip run through the cave quickly.
Mudkip (running): There've been a lot of natural disasters in this area lately..There've been earthquakes like the one you felt earlier almost EVERYDAY! And whole villages have been demolished by tornadoes...Now that I think about it, I'm scared...I wanna go home now.....(Sees a group of sunkern) Sunkern!! Were you the ones asking for help?
The eyes of the sunkern looked at mudkip innocently, but their faces turned into and evil one, and glared at them, beginning to attack.
Mudkip: Doesn't seem like it...! They're kinda scary...WAAAAHH!!!
The sunkern jump to attack Mudkip, but Ginji shoots a large flame at them, burning them to a crisp.
Ginji: You okay?
Mudkip: Yeah. Thanks! Why would a bunch of easygoing sunkern suddenly attack us...?
Ginji: What's going on? I have a bad feeling about this...
As they continue walking towards the scream for help, more pokemon unexpectantly attack, and Ginji burns them all, with Mudkip running away, scared as always.
Ginji (Tired): Huff...Huff...Why don't you fight a little too?!
Mudkip: L-Like I told you...I can't....
The two finally come to a caterpie who is crying on a rock.
Both: CATERPIE!!
Caterpie (Crying): Help me!
Mudkip: So you were the one crying for help.
Ginji: You're safe now. We'll take you home.
Caterpie: W-Watch out!
Rocks suddenly fall and a stray string shoots at Ginji, striking him down, leaving several scratches.
Mudkip (Worried): GINJI!!
Ginji (Getting up): O-Owww...!!
The two see a large ariados spider resting atop its large spider web, glaring at them.
Mudkip: This is...AN ARIADOS'S NEST!!
The Ariados shoots more webs at them, this time at Mudkip. Mudkip slides for cover and closes his eyes.
Mudkip: EEEEh!! It's scary. I'm going to run away...
A very beat-up Ginji steps in front of Cowardly Mudkip.
Ginji: Don't give up Mudkip! I'll draw his attention! As soon as he's distracted, get caterpie out of here!
Mudkip (crying): What?! No way, that's impossible! I could never do that!
Ginji: DON'T GIVE UP TILL THE VERY END!!
Mudkip: Deep down...I'll do it!! I'm going to be on the rescue team! Even I... DON'T WANT TO GIVE UP!!! Water gun!
Mudkip jumps before Ginji, and sprays a water gun at Ariados.
Ginji: Mudkip?!
Ariados shoots a web at Mudkip, and knocks him down.
Ginji: Nice job Mudkip! Now I can get him back for that hit! Flamethrower!!
Ginji shoots a large spiral of flames, burning the spider. After defeating it, Ginji and mudkip bring Caterpie back up outside the cave and hole, and it runs home happily saying "Thank you!"
Mudkip: Bye-Bye! ......(Holding stomach) Oh! Ouch!! ......
Ginji: You're such a crybaby! Aw, Come on, that's just a scratch!
Mudkip: Don't say that! This is YOUR fault Ginji! You're the crybaby. My entire bosy is covered in scratches!!
Ginji: Yeah, but....It's a good thing you didn't give up, right?
Mudkip (Looking at Ginji surprised): Now I see that Ginji is more injured than me...Of course. He was protecting me the whole time...Ginji's a ruffian and he's reckless....but he's a HERO! I bet if I stick with him... Ginji! From now on, it's you and me! We'll be our own rescue team! To tell you the truth...I have a feeling that with you at my side, I can accomplish the impossible!! You have a unique "power" Ginji. We need it on our rescue Team! Of course, I'll give the team my all too!
Ginji (Bored): You're talking too much...again...so forget it...
Mudkip: WHAAAAT?! What kind of reason is that?! Okay...fine, I'll shorten my request.
Ginji: One Sentence.
Mudkip: Let's form a Rescue Team.
Ginji (happily): Okay.
Mudkip: Really?
Ginji (laughing): Too persistant....so...forget it..
